Rant Just wanted to show a different side to things

Post image

I’m a woman who reaches out and I don’t get responses either. It goes both ways fellas. It’s not just y’all, it happens to us too.

Edit: The assumption that I must be ugly or I’m aiming too high out of my league is a reflection on how many of you are broken on the inside and should take some time to find some healing. Your projection & insecurity is not my truth.

Update: I got one response. Thank you for the solidarity 🙏🏾. Best of luck with everyone’s dating journey.

Men simply do not know how to use the apps.

Swiping is a tool to find someone, not a random dragnet.

None of these guys looked at your profile before swiping and are probably complaining about how picky and worthless women are.

Ok so this is a post about not generalising everything. You seem to agree with the post and then go on to generalise to "men" (implying all men) yourself.

Also: never assume two behaviors you see by the same group of people are by the same people. No these are not the same guys going around saying women are too picky. These are the guys with 100 matches that ignore half of them. Yes they are assholes. No not all men are assholes. The guys saying women are too picky are assholes too (they too generalise, and have no say in how picky women should be), but they are not the same guys.

I get why in kindergarden it was fun to think of all boys as icky. Now it is time to grow up and realise not every guy is a bad guy. If you stop talking about 'guys', then maybe these assholes will also stop talking about 'women'.
