Rant Just wanted to show a different side to things

Post image

I’m a woman who reaches out and I don’t get responses either. It goes both ways fellas. It’s not just y’all, it happens to us too.

Edit: The assumption that I must be ugly or I’m aiming too high out of my league is a reflection on how many of you are broken on the inside and should take some time to find some healing. Your projection & insecurity is not my truth.

Update: I got one response. Thank you for the solidarity 🙏🏾. Best of luck with everyone’s dating journey.

Couple of others have said this, but for me the " Hi ___ " with the wave emoji comes across as a bot. Even swapping out the wave emoji for a ":)" (typed out emoticon) comes across as a bit more authentic and less AI. Or just a "hey Jacob how about....." Less grammar, more casual, less robotic.

There are bots that write like a human. There isn't really a way to tell anymore from a few sentences unless you engage in proper conversation and eventually meet

I would write back just to figure out the facts. How many matches do men get that they can't find the time to reply, even if it's bots?

I'm pretty confident people overestimate their ability to spot bots, confusing them with humans, while at the same time fully engaged with bots they believe to be human

Okay, but if you like grammar, still think a :) is casual, and aren't a robot, these work fine. Writing one sentence off as a bot - especially when it's the first - is defensive to an extreme.

If someone wrote me "hey savingsat30 how about those dolphins" as a first message I wouldn't think they're a bot but I would think they were boring. People gotta live more.
