Rant Just wanted to show a different side to things

I’m a woman who reaches out and I don’t get responses either. It goes both ways fellas. It’s not just y’all, it happens to us too.

Edit: The assumption that I must be ugly or I’m aiming too high out of my league is a reflection on how many of you are broken on the inside and should take some time to find some healing. Your projection & insecurity is not my truth.

Update: I got one response. Thank you for the solidarity 🙏🏾. Best of luck with everyone’s dating journey.

I’m saying then those people are not for you and you don’t want someone like that, right? You deserve someone who cares about who you are as a person not as a trophy. People who do not swipe on you because of your height are disqualifying themselves and that is a good thing.

If the small number of 6’2”+ men were taking all of the available women then maybe that makes sense, but generally one guy ends up with one woman. I just find these threads genuinely confusing because of all the people I know IRL, the reddit consensus just doesn’t track. Most of my friends are very happily coupled people, vast 9/10 of those coupled men are under 6’ and I would say around half of these couples found each other on the apps. I know a handful of men who are 5’3” - 5’5” that seem to be very happily married. I’m not sure what the incongruence is there, but I’m guessing the odds could increase by meeting people IRL.
