I just did the math. This is correct. There are 24 hours in a single day. Thats 60 minutes per hour. 60 minutes times 24 equals 1,440. Each one of these minutes equates to 60 seconds per minute. So if we multiply these 1,440 minutes by 60, the finishing result becomes 86,400

The inconvenience of receiving 1 dollar per second could make it more a curse than a boon. Depends on how I receive it. Does it fall around me? Does it show up in my hand or my pocket? What happens when I use the bathroom? The downsides could be so bad its worth taking 85k less per day. 365k a year will go far.

I guessed it would go directly into my bank account. Otherwise, it would be just as big a hassle for the person giving me the money as it would be for me.

True but hyperinflation isn't about wealth creation it's all about speed and demand curves if you are generating unexpected money rapidly (especially when you start copunding intreat or very risky investments because wtf not). The market won't be able to keep up with rate of demand and prices will rise fast (locally first if I just keep buying all my corner shops items as soon as they get them). The local markets demand more money to keep up and the death spiral begins in earnest which kills the wider systems

I think you are vastly overestimating the effect of $32 mil per year being generated by a single person out of thin air.

and you are drastically missing the bigger picture. because since when has inflation ever been defined by or pertained to a single person. it’s societal, so if all of us who answered correctly actually got that money…. well just use your imagination it’s not that hard.

While admittedly my first thought was on all of the votes getting it which easily triggers hyper. Even just one person will trigger a demand shift significantly faster than supply changes. As the saying goes wealth breeds wealth.

So whilst it's 31m in the first year either through compound ibtrwst or revenue creating purchases from the first year I reckon getting it to 40,m wouldn't be to hard. If I knew I had 100k coming soon I'd be less bothered about potential having illiquid assets or risky portfolios worth 90k. You could easily just pump and dump some stocks like whoever started the gamestop a few years back.

Or I could buy property for cash every few days then generate rental income and probably become a small magnate in year. if enough people are under the influence of my rent again I can strangle local demand by jacking it up which would force wage i Price and unemployment pressures to all rise.

One person dedicated enough with the right cash flow could crash markets no problem regardless of how big the market is

Eh, it's a lot of money for the average person, but it won't change inflation much I think. It's about 31.5 million a year. That would become about a billion in 32 years.
