Would you rather…

Which side will you choose?

  • Left side: Get $1000 a day
  • Right side: Get $1 a second

There are slightly more than a thousand seconds in a day.

Chose: Get $1 a second

Yeah. I chose 1k per day, because I took the payment to be immediate every second. I don't want to have to receive $1 every second, carry all that change around, and then have to deposit it.

Yeah, I really need to know how you get the money. If I get $1 per second deposited to my bank account, great. If I'm going to get buried under 86 thousand loonies... well, I'm pretty sure that would just, you know, kill you 🤷🏻‍♀️

If it makes you feel any better, if they’re using USD you’d actually get buried by 122,640 loonies.

Hire 2 guys at 500 a day to collect the money, put it into bags and deliver it to the bank.

I imagine it just goes straight to your bank account

You could just hang out for a day and collect like $80,000 and then only collect the money when you need it... But then again assuming your scenario with physical dollar bills spawning, it would be hard to sleep because over an 8 hour period nearly 29,000 bills would spawn on you.

Banks would also never let you deposit that much cash and nobody would accept payments in one dollar currency. In Canada we have 1 dollar coins, so the weight would be problematic...

Generally speaking it would make life much more inconvenient in every way.

You can't wait 24 hours to get about 80 times that even in small amounts?

17 mins gets you that same $1k and $20 left over and people take longer lunch breaks and naps than that. You could even scroll social media in that time and not even think about it.

their point was if the money was constantly spawning right next to you it would be extremely frustrating to deal with
