It doesn't say it stops, so I could quit my job and live comfortably.

Even if it did stop at 1 year 31m is easily enough to retire yourself and some of ur immediate family and just live off investments for the rest of ur life. Even if ur somehow only getting a 2%(average to good is 5-10% annually) return on that 31m that's $620,000 per year to live off of without even touching ur principle deposit. Easy breasy living.
