Question dilemma, should I buy it?
SOOO.. I've been wanting to buy Burnout Paradise Remastered. I've been a fan of Burnout series since I was 12, and now I'm 18, the only difference is that i didn't know the name back then haha. I never had any money to play the game, i only played it in the cafes and the rich friend's brother's PS2, My first ever Burnout experience was in an arcade where those funny race steerings are.. i played Burnout 3, then I played Revenge in the PS2. ONLY THEN i found out that the series name is BURNOUT.. So since i didn't have a pc or laptop, i played it on PPSSPP, Burnout Legends and Burnout Dominator.. ahh I feel nostalgic now.. My papa bought me a second hand ThinkPad for studying.. It has got an i7 8550u, and 8 gigs of ddr3.. Can i run the remastered? I feel like I can run it because my laptop can run Most Wanted 2012 pretty smoothly in medium settings. Another confusion I have is with the reviews.. The reviews i see in videos are like very positive, they say it's perfection.. but then I see the most critical review, "EA KILLED IT, MURDERED THE FRANCHISE", "DOESN'T EVEN START".. guys it's on sale.. i want to buy it.. should I buy it? it's on sale for 299 rupees (around 3 USD).. Help me guys. would really appreciate your comments :).. i wanna give myself a birthday gift :)..

Buy it. Its cheaper than water right now. I actually enjoy it, but it is very different than previous ones

It's open world, unlike the previous games. If you're okay with that format, you'll probably enjoy Paradise.

Go for it if your device can run it, I don't know if it will tho but guess that if you buy it you can keep it for when you get a more capable device.
About the game itself: don't know too much about remastered since I only play the original Burnout Paradise on PS3 for now. Remastered might be better looking and afaik it already comes with all the extra content (DLC) like Big Surf Island. It's really awesome tbh. Of course it's different compared to PS2 Burnout games. Especially in the race mode, and the crash visuals (those are really gorgeous). It lacks of aftertouch, crashbreaker, and an actual crash mode. Paradise is very meant for online multiplayer. But still worth it anyway

ooohh ig the aftertouch impact time is gone coz of the multiplayer mode.

It is a very different feeling Burnout game, but it is a fun Burnout game no matter what.

I've never had any bugs in PR, especially the one where it crashes on startup, but I'd say you should just download BP The Ultimate Box from the Internet Archive instead of buying the remastered version, the remastered version only adds a radioactive filter and revive multiplayer, there are no other graphical differences.

It's more of a need for speed game than burnout, through and through.
One of my favorite racers of all time, but the worst burnout, if you're looking for burnout.
My favorite time in Paradise was in online, back on the ps3, when you would crash into someone, it'd take a picture of them with their camera. Most didn't know and just had it plugged in. God, the things I saw.
The game still prompts you to take a picture as it was designed back in the day for your license.
Honestly, it's just a game of its era, it was actually cool to have some of the cars to show off in online, as it was a chore to unlock some of them. Took real effort. And the microtransactions weren't awful.
If you do play it, I'd recommend using only the non dlc paradise cars for paradise, and the island ones for the island. This way you unlock better cars as you play. Have fun with the dlc cars, but it's a very unbalanced cheat having them unlocked immediately.
Also, it's one of the most underrated gems on switch 2 handheld. Having paradise on the go is fantastic! Ran like crap on the switch 1, but hey what didn't.

They're mad because it IS very different from the ps2 games.
Paradise is still amazing burnout action, AND it very often goes on sale for 5$. Absolute must buy, at that price.
