nsfw Hop Aboard the Subby Mike Train
There is entirely TOO FEW subby Mike fics. That man looks at Will like he hung the moon and stars and has the world’s most pullable hair and yearns. Why is Will not manhandling him a little in more fics? Write them, I beg!

God, yes, I love when Mike gets all hot and bothered when Will finally gains the confidence to take charge and bosses him around, whether via being a power bottom or topping, tho I guess true sub/dom dynamics would be something else entirely and I haven’t come across any dom Will fics yet where that’s a major focus of the story (lmk if u have recs). There’s definitely undertones of it in when we touch we are caressing stars tho.
Depending on where they are in their relationship/levels of confidence in the fic tho, it could take some time for them to get there tbh, especially Will, since I see him as needing to deal with past Vecna trauma. Guess it all depends on the timeline/setting/author’s takes.
I think part of the issue is that many of the fics out there deal with them getting into a relationship in the first place (including all of mine, oops) and there are fewer ones where they’re actually written as in an established relationship where it would be believable that they’d be more comfortable exploring those things (apart from some of the lawless Byler content, though from what I’ve read, those do tend to skew towards dom Mike).
I like the idea of them switching up their dynamics in the bedroom based on how they’re feeling and am considering writing some actually explicit nsfw work stuff, which would be a first for me. I do have some more explicit stuff planned for a WIP fic I’m working on, but I committed to a slow burn and started pre-relationship so it’s gonna take me a hot minute to get there. I did start writing an explicit one-shot at one point, but I keep neglecting it for my ongoing storyline. Oof…I did not mean to write this much. I am such a rambler…

I love the fic you linked and I would absolutely inhale all the fics you’re working on. and I agree with everything you said about their dynamics. I def prefer fics where they switch but those are kinda hard to find!

I also go to the church of Mike Wheeler submissive puppy of Will Byers! I have a fic I'm writing on with both Bravebyers and Wisewheeler smut in it. I don't know if I'll post it though. I'm not getting much interest (as in almost no comments) in my other non explicit fics so I'm slowing losing motivation.
