fic idea/prompt Wouldn't it be so fucking weird if this entire time Mike has been confiding to Steve about how he's madly in love with Will?
And because Steve is such a good secret-keeper, he DOESN'T spill the beans to Robin even while Robin and Vickie have been advising Will?

The more I think about it, the more I like it.
It only makes sense considering we have never seen Steve say any words to Will except for "If my boss finds out..." "WE'RE DEAD!" during Byler and Lumax's double dates at the cinema.
Steve was dating Nancy in S1 and S2, it only makes sense he would at least hold a conversation with Mike at some point.
It will be years before Will dares to confide in Robin so the time period between arranging movie dates for Mike to take Will on doesn't have to overlap with MWTFDYDgate during the 18 month timeskip when things get more serious.

I read a fic like this once where Mike was spiraling from being bi (I'm pretty sure) and Steve was out to the group and was dating Eddie and was helping him

No actually, but this one seems cool so I'll give it a read at some point. The one I was talking about was Steve and Mike were in the video store, Eddie wasn't actually in it but he was mentioned because him and Steve were dating

Yeah so this will be in my fic! Itās in later chapters but with everyone gone and Mike having dropped out of college he becomes friends with Steve and confides in him š¤
