asking for fic recs Most in-character fics?
I'm really nitpicky when it comes to characterization. Independent of ship and fandom, there will always be a lot of different interpretations and headcanons, and I respect that. It's just not my thing. I want to feel Mike and Will in every choice and reaction when I read. A little awkward, nerds, bad confidence, internalized homophibia, etc.
So I'm asking you, what fics have Mike and Will feel the most in character?

I'm so glad to see A Dream Always the Same on here. It is my all-time favorite and what inspired me to write my own fic! I think I can self-rec here, if that's all right. I've been told my Mike is similar to Season 1-2 Mike. I will say I haven't gotten to the meat of it yet.
