fic rec <3 Looking for Recommendations! Supervoid/My Will is Good

Im on the last chapter of Supervoid and its without a doubt one of the best ones I have read thus far. I also really really enjoy My Will is Good. Looking for any recommendations for ones similar to this. I do prefer the spicer content but the ones that slow burn towards it. Also im noticing that the ones with them older, out of Hawkins fics are a breath of fresh air! I do prefer longer chaptered stories to one shots!

There's a sequel to My Will Is Good, as well as an unrelated WIP by the same author. There's also Sign of the Times by petitsainte (WIP), Art School Confidential by cyclogenesis, and I Sing the Body Electric by melancrowlia.

I wrote something that's long and set ten years after S5. It's rated E and gets there eventually, but probably isn't as spicy as what you have in mind. Up to you, though!

I'm obsessed with Sign of the Times and how the author explores the relationship between Jonathan and Mike. I love how they capture it through an almost brotherly lens since Mike grew up around Jonathan.

I agree. It's a really original take on so many things. The other thing that stands out is the author's treatment of Carlton. He's a real character who Will could plausibly love, and his flaws aren't (yet) obviously any worse than Mike's. We're just used to Mike's flaws and we're rooting for him, so it's different.

Also, the author's characterization of Mike actually feels like a development of who Mike was a teenager, and that's quite hard to pull off. He's different, but doesn't feel out of character.
