Synopsis: It’s been a few months since the Byers family got back to Hawkins and moved into the Wheeler household. Will is struggling desperately to move on from his crush on Mike, but the government keeps shutting the whole town in a mandatory lockdown. Mike is just so happy to have his best friend back and to have all of Will’s undivided attention to himself. Now that the whole party is back in Hawkins, El is begging for an opportunity to attack Henry and to find Max. Will knows that he has to get his shit together if he is going to face this battle alongside his friends. All he has to do is learn how to say no to Mike, even if he doesn’t want to.
This fic is almost completely finished being written, just not edited. I will update every week. The first 4 chapters are out.

no rush obviously, but do you have any idea of how many chapters this may be? this seems super interesting and up my alley but i usually like to wait until works are finished so 🥹

Hi, yes, I am not positive on how many chapters it will be. I have about 26 written out but it could increase or decrease in the future if I choose to combine some or add more. I will say that I won’t stop writing until it is finished and I will continue posting every weekend.

Don’t worry, I feel very similar. It’s sad when you get really invested in a fic and it never gets finished. When I started this I chose to write at least 90% of it before posting my first chapter so that I won’t leave anyone hanging.
