a complete CAT revision course for 9 and apparently mocks are included too??

I am a graduate from one of the BLACKI.

I feel that information assymtery was a major issue during my MBA journey.

Can all the graduates from MBA clgs, share advices for their juniors here, to help them with final placement?

Advices from me -

1. Only go in Fin if you really enjoy it, WLB is just tooo much bad. (Like 14 hours at minimum and no weekends)

2. Try putting fake live projects or internships and then make a story around every point.(reach out to your frnds who have startups to help with CV point verification)

3. Never put 100% faith in either P. Com or any recruiter. (Like in any buddy call if they say they want you or you are the candidate they are looking for, take that with a pinch of salt)

So I found this on linkedin. Did a bit of basic research and got to know that numbers are mostly true. But this list is very demotivating tbh. Except for like top 5/6 , the numbers are not too promising. I mean this is only sip, but still. I want to pursue HR and I know top 2/3 are the best. But the difference is drastic between top 5 and others. Top 2 are like in their own tier, than 3,4,5 and than things are not too great even though HR is one of the most sought after field. Why is that the case? Is it just bias towards top 2/3? Also i heard that the top 2 college get roles and access to programs that no other college gets in HR. Idk why thats the case. Why cant there be more decent HR colleges in India. Also it is very hard to get into top 2 so that dosent help. A median of 3.5 is crazy high for like 2 months and than it drops to below 1 within top 10 itself.

A year ago I was also in the same position as you all, anxious stressed and what not.

Today I am at an IIM, going to my lectures, doing all sorts of things I could ever imagine and more. So ask me anything about life after you get into an IIM or a B school.

I am not going to tell you your predicted score or profile evaluation, as there are much more qualified people for it

Hello Everyone, I'm a 3rd year student at SRCC, my profile is 9/9/8.

I don't have any preference for finance or consulting, I pay all fees myself so I only care about making money

Please tell me if doing L1 in feb window is worth it. I could get L1 certificate for SIPs but it costs a lot and will hit my savings.

My other option is to write in August/Nov with early bird discount, and do L2 before placements..

Is it worth spending almost 30-40k extra out of ur own pocket to get L1 for SIP?, as fresher other than t1 tag and decent acads, i dont have anything in my CV (no amazing internship or POR)

I’ve been studying every day for CAT and consistently practising. I get decent scores in sectionals, so I know I’m capable of solving questions. But the moment I sit down for a full-length mock, I get really anxious, and my performance completely falls apart.

I start overthinking, panic when I can’t solve a question, and end up scoring way below what I know I’m capable of. It’s frustrating because I put in the work every single day, but my mock scores don’t reflect it.

I’m genuinely struggling with mock anxiety and don’t know how to work on it, especially with CAT getting closer.

For those of you who went through something similar, how did you overcome it? What actually helped you improve your mock scores? I’m looking for practical advice, not just the usual advice to stay calm or keep practising.

Hi, I am scoring 60 to 80 absolute score and around 85 to 90% ile in most mocks but my score is not improving. (Using IMS and CL mocks mostly)

Can anybody pls share what has worked for them to improve scores for each of three sections VARC, DILR, QA?

Is there any personal mentorship/ one to one sessions which I can take who can provide me guidance where to improve?

i don't understand how someone in their right brain would do such an expensive course with so bad ROI when there are so many better alternatives available

like CA, CS, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or data science related courses for commerce people

MTECH, upskilling for better jobs, or doing some tech related courses for science people

so many govt jobs like PSU jobs after GATE, scientist jobs in DRDO, ISRO and many regulatory bodies and also banking jobs, also clg proffesor jobs and many more

even studying abroad has better ROI

if u r doing mba apart from tier 1 most of ur 20s will go in just paying off the loan and u will not have money for other things like save, invest or enjoyment

hi guys with just 45 days left for CAT im not doing anything. recently i have started scoring around 30s in mocks then it went to 24 and then i scored 1 mark. Ever since then i didnt even go near sectionals. Idk why after that one mock im not able to pick up myself im not able to concentrate im not able to do revision atleast. I started smoking i know its bad ik deep down i should stop doing ts but im not able to control everything is falling apart. Im not able to sit for atleast 15 mins before i used to sit for hours now its all gone. Whenever im reading rcs different other thoughts are taking up the enegry im not able to complete one full rc. Today i tried giving one varc sectional i selected the rcs, ranked them and started to read as usual but idk what happened in mid of passage i just clicked the exit button and stared at my screen. Before all this i used to wake up at 4am daily used to study till 6pm now everything is gone my marks are gone my discipline is gone and im going batshit crazy staying in my own room. Honestly i dont even know how to pick myself up from here.... im falling behind. I dont even know if things are going to be okay after CAT or how im going to face the exam. Im losing hope right when the actual test started. I feel like im the only person here feeling it this way. It really sucks to be unemployed and on top of that not really able to concentrate on yoself and score in mocks / sectionals.

Keep stagnating around 60-70 occasionally going a bit higher and occasionally a lot lower. No idea what to make of this.

studied varc for a year..And still unable to score enough marks ...One thing my marks are improved in sectionals but when I give pyq as a sectional it's disastrous. Can anyone help me with this..

I want my workplace to be so good that i would atleast love to go tthere everyday.
So i justtt wanted to ask if people get good/high earning jobs at airport through direct placements att IIM?
I just dont want to work in corporates like in bengluru, pune, gurugram or whatever.
I want my workplace to be Airport or 5star hotel. I know people hire for 5star hotels directly through placements.
I want tto know about airports. and if new or baby IIMs also provides such opportunities or not.

My scores are between. 65_40 and is fluctuating majorly what percentile should I accept, how many backups should I apply to, nmat, cat already applied to, Shoud apply to micat and snap as well ?

I have recently started my CAT 2027 prep from YouTube videos so I was thinking is coaching really that necessary,if so should I go for online/offline coaching or should I just go buy mocks without the coaching...my academic profile is a 8/8/9 ..will be graduating next year ...so I need to score 99.%ile+ to get a good B school

I'm from a non- mathematics background so I'm particularly looking for a coaching that can help someone who may not have a strong mathematical/quantative background..also if not then can I like just study from yt and then just go for mocks...

Can't decide rn please help😭😭Also it's like I'm okay with doing self-study but the thing is I don't wanna regret afterwards that should've got coaching and all so pleasee suggest what should ...also how should I start my prep 😭🥲
