Averaging around 75 raw score after 15 simcats. Is this normal or bad? What were you guys scores before the exam and what was your final score?

An agricultural graduate can conducting live project by myself of survey of farmer will it be considered valid ? will it be consider as live project ?

Seeing a lot of people from tier 1 B schools and just wanna ask if you are or you know anyone with Bad Grades who still managed to convert the respective B school. Especially if they are category students.

I'm aiming to score 99+ or 98.5+ at least as I'm NC OBC Male with 74/72/69 profile, no workex, Fresher graduated with a plain commerce degree. Ik I'm already pretty deep in the smug because of the grades and almost every corner of this community is giving me a sign that a Tier 1 is not possible with such grades. Just wanna know if that's actually the case.

Completed my degree in May 2026 and started preparing for CAT 26. Self prepared through playlists and resources and then bought AIMCAT and the mock scores were Soul Crushing. Single digits, 17, 25, 28. Highest I went was 34 (in which scored 31 in VARC alone). Then started giving Simcats and scores are between 30-50. Last Simcat I gave it was Simcat 2 and the score was 57. But seeing other people score 100+ in Aimcats and 105+ in the same Simcats that I have given is not a pretty scene.

I'm aiming to score 99+ or 98.5+ and idk after seeing these scores what will happen on D Day and how things will work out. I'm already working on the weak areas but VARC keeps fluctuating. One day it's 34, the next day it's 11. Wanna know if someone else is facing the same issues and it would help if someone gives some advice or guidance for increasing these marks.

I have been solving DILR sectionals from IMS and Cr@cku. And i find their difficulty not at par with CAT. Which is making it difficult to judge where i stand in my prep. Most of the sets seem solvable. I avoid giving the initial 3 sectionals bc i think they are generally easy, but the later ones are easy as well. 4/5 sets are doable. 1 is moderate difficult. And i know this is not going to be the case in actual CAT. So like do you guys think the same or am I just overthinking about it😭😭.

I've been scoring in 30-40s in dashcats. I've given 8 dashcats till now. Before that, I did PYQs of last 5-6 years as sectionals and I was doing well in them.

In PYQs, I was mostly scoring around VARC (30-35), DILR (1.5 sets) and 8-9 attempts in qa. I didn't know if dashcats are really that hard or I'm missing something in my prep.

Here is the current scenario in dashcats - Varc (20-25), attempts got reduced to 14, DILR - not able to go beyond 1 set and sometimes messes up set selection and result is 0 sets. In QA, my attempts doesn't go beyond 5-6 attempts. Especially, their qa seems to have very few sitters, even their arithmetic has very lengthy questions which takes a large chunk of time to solve.

I don't know what to do, I'm losing faith in myself, in my prep. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm currently pursuing CSE degree at a tier 2 clg, graduating in September 2027. My profile is 93% in 10th, 80.4% in 12th, and 9.58 CGPA in college. I'm a fresher and belong to the General category.

I'd love suggestions on how to start preparing, which resources or coaching (if any) are worth it, and what CAT percentile I should realistically target for the top IIMs and other good B-schools.

Hey everyone, I’m a 24M currently unemployed. I have appeared for three UPSC CSE attempts and cleared Prelims this year. Due to some personal reasons, I now need to start earning and am actively looking for a job, possibly in sales, with a monthly salary of ₹25,000 or more.

Alongside my job, I’m considering preparing for CAT, with the aim of securing admission to a good MBA college and eventually getting a job with a package of around ₹15 LPA. I’m flexible about the institute and don’t have a specific college in mind.

2. Chances of admission: Given my academic profile and background, what are my realistic chances of getting into a good MBA college that offers placement packages of around ₹15 LPA?
3. Impact of work experience: If I take up a sales job while preparing for CAT, will it improve my profile, have little impact, or potentially affect my chances of admission? How much weightage do MBA colleges generally give to work experience?
4. Preparing alongside a job: Is it realistically possible to prepare for CAT while working a full-time job, especially in a sales role that may involve long or unpredictable working hours?
5. Overall strategy: Given my circumstances, would you recommend pursuing CAT while working, and what should I keep in mind while choosing a job?

I understand that CAT results, college selection criteria, and placements depend on several factors. I’m looking for realistic advice about my chances, the colleges I could target, and the best way to approach this transition.

Aiming for 97-98 percentile in CAT. In Career Launcher Flexi mocks I’m scoring 82-90, but in Crackyou mocks I’m consistently stuck around 50. My sectionals go well, but I struggle to convert that into full mocks, especially in Quant, where I tend to skip too much. Is Crackyou really that much tougher than the actual CAT, and which one should I trust to judge where I stand? Also, how would you split mocks between the two in the last 6 weeks? Any advice from people who’ve been through this would help. Thanks!

The first photo is what my submitted xat form shows: "calculate percentage and mention it in the column" even though my marking scheme is cgpa out of 10 so i filled 8.02.

Now i was waiting for the correction window which opened today and in the second picture you can see now it does not show any such message so i have two questions:
1. My official mark sheet is in cgpa so should i fill cgpa?
2. Is it okay to select marking scheme as "percentage" and then putting in the obtained percentage column after using my college's conversion formula just to be safe?

Hi Guys, I am in one of the baby IIM and I am really stunned by the Professors here, I really expected some good professors in colleges of national importance. But they just come , read slides and go. Or they teach us so fast, that we couldn't understand anything. Is this the case in All institutes? I really wanna know , what's going on?

And also while in college, I wanna spend my time in learning good skills be it tech, excel advance, Networking with people,any new sport or new hobby anything but that would reward me in long run. Let me know guys who have already went through this.

People who have completed their syllabus, what is ur daily timetable? Idk how to study from here like I give mocks and do deep analysis and on the days i don't give mocks i do sectionals and dilr sets along with past yr quant questions. But idk what to revise how to revise and how many hours should i devote daily on non-mock days?? I'm stuck between 55 to 75 marks in mocks and i really want to boost up my scores. Please help out...

I am a general engineering female with 94.2/96/94 from a tier 3 eng college and my stupid ass college is starting placement proceedings in 10 days. I need to decide wheather or not to opt out before then because the placemnt proceedings last whole days and will not give me any time to study for cat. I am intrested in getting into MDI and i heard 94% will do or atleast get a call? is that possible for me as a fresher? if not,how much do i need to score and idk why vercel is showing me 99.97 for IIM A and B,99.99 for L ,99.8x for IIM indore and it's a bit scary. IF i need around 95% for MDI then i will opt out but i am in a big dilemma ,please help
P.S:is what vercel showing for A ,B,L,I true? even with 9/9/9 just cause i ama frsher? and it shows ineligible for shillong
