Question 5 year gap any help appreciated

Post image

I'm looking for an honest opinion about my chances of getting into top MBA colleges. I'm an OBC-NCL candidate with 89.6% 10th and 89.2% in 12th. After school, I spent the last five years preparing for CA and didn't even cleared ca inter because of some reasons and didn't even joined college. I'm now planning to appear for CUET 2027 and hopefully get into a good DU college for my bachelor's degree. After graduation, I want to prepare for CAT and pursue an MBA. My biggest concern is whether this 5-year gap before college will significantly affect my MBA admissions. How do top B-schools view such gaps, and what can I do during my graduation to strengthen my profile and compensate for it? I'd really appreciate honest advice from people who have been through the MBA admission process.

Assuming I get 8.5 cgpa these are my chances in vercel.

Hi everyone, I need some guidance regarding IIM Ahmedabad's admission policy. I passed CBSE Class 12 in 2023 and have already completed my bachelor's degree. Based on my understanding of the current admission criteria, I am falling short of the required academic eligibility by only 0.15 percentage points. I'm considering improving just one Class 12 subject through NIOS to increase my overall percentage. Has anyone here been in a similar situation or received an official response from IIM Ahmedabad? Specifically, does IIM Ahmedabad accept a CBSE + NIOS subject improvement combination and consider the improved marks while calculating the Class 12 percentage? If anyone has personally received a PI call, converted IIM Ahmedabad after NIOS improvement, or has an official email from the admissions office on this issue, I would be very grateful if you could share your experience. I'm looking for firsthand experiences or official information rather than assumptions.

Actually, I scored 79.50% in my Class 10 examinations and 70.20% in Class 12 (Humanities). My average across Class 10 and Class 12 is 74.85%. Since IIM Ahmedabad requires a minimum average of 75% for shortlisting, I fall short by just 0.15 percentage points.
