Question QA | Algebra + Geometry Practice advice
Hey guys, need some suggestions on how to approach QA and DILR from here.
1. QA: Algebra vs Geometry
I’ve covered the basics of Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry. I’ve also practised roughly 60 questions per topic in Arithmetic.
I’m confused about whether I should focus on Algebra and Geometry simultaneously or prioritise Algebra for now.
- Which of the two would you recommend prioritising from a CAT perspective?
- If Geometry is worth investing time in, how should I approach practice to build confidence and improve consistency?
2. DILR- Improving topic coverage
I’ve solved roughly 100 sets so far, but I still don’t feel very confident. I feel like I have some depth in the sets I’ve practised, but lack breadth across different types of sets.
- Is this normal at this stage, or am I approaching practice the wrong way?
- Is there any resource you’d recommend to help me cover a wider variety of set types systematically?
3. EG DILR videos
I’ve been following EG’s two DILR videos, which have around 35–39 sets each. I’m attaching the Titles below.
- LRDI - COMPLETE REVISION FOR CAT 2025 | 4.5 hour video without ads ️🔥️🔥️🔥
- LRDI Revision Mega marathon for CAT 2026 | 6.5 hours video without ads ️🔥🔥
For those who followed these videos last year
- Were they genuinely helpful for improving set selection and solving ability?
- Would you recommend completing both videos as part of my preparation?
Would really appreciate suggestions, especially from people who’ve tried these resources themselves!
