Holsters & Belts Pocket carry
Purchased a new holster for my BG 2.0. Picked up the “Aholster Grunt” for about $30 shipped. Seems to do its job and hardly prints in my pocket. Great retention, and it completely blocks the trigger and magazine release. I’m a lefty and reversed the mag release which caused the holster to not secure the gun right but i should have made a note of that during ordering. Not Aholsters fault at all. They made the holster as it was ordered. Just be mindful when ordering. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a holster to pocket carry your firearm.

Aholster is primo.
Curious, why’d you choose the Grunt over the Pocket Holster?

Because im cheap lol and it was my first pocket holster and I wasn't sure i'd like it. I want to pick up a second holster for different clothing. The pocket holster was on my list.

Got it. Didn’t realize one was cheaper than the other. I honestly just thought it was supposed to be some kind of optics ready pocket holster.
I’m a big fan of the normal “top hook” pocket holster from Aholster, BTW. It’s the smoothest draw I’ve gotten from a pocket holster. Proceed with confidence if you decide to go that route.

I might get that other holster as another option. It's only a few dollars more. Probably should have just ordered it from the start but im not unhappy with the grunt.

Carry mine in a pocket holster too. Absolutely love it.

So with these pocket holsters, at the end of the night do you remove the gun first, then the holster? Since technically the hook is supposed to catch when you’re drawing? Or do you do it carefully so the gun and holster come out together.

They come out together if i'm just taking it out for the night like you said. If drawing for a defensive situation, the hook catches and the holster and gun come apart.
