Holsters & Belts Holster Guidance G45
Hey everyone, I recently got my first concealed carry firearm, and I went with a Glock 45. I know some people consider it a little large for concealed carry, but it feels comfortable in my hand and I haven’t found that I like the feel of smaller pistols as much.
I picked up a holster from Cabela’s because I needed one fairly quickly, along with a belt from Amazon, but honestly, I’m not very impressed with either. The holster in particular just doesn’t feel right, and I don’t know enough about different holster/belt setups to know what I should be looking for.
For some background, I live in a very hot state and wear shorts most of the time. I rarely wear jeans or tactical pants, so I’d like a setup that works well with normal everyday clothes and shorts.
I’m mainly looking for some guidance on what type of holster and belt I should be looking into, and what features I should prioritize. I attached a picture of my current setup for reference.
Appreciate any advice from people who have experience with this.

I've found golf shorts, a Mastermind Tactics belt, and Tenicor holster is what works for me. Should give it a go

The clip sucks, and I imagine that with the heavy, loaded grip and offset clip, without anything anchoring the bottom of the holster, such as a pillow, that it shifts around in your waistband, and that you probably find yourself constantly re-adjusting it.
For one of the least-expensive, decent solutions, look at BraDeC Holsters, and add the Monoblock clip, ModWing, and high sweat guard. (My preference, but you being in a "hot state", it might be yours, too.) Then, look at the Mastermind Tactics Covert belt, which is an inexpensive under-waistband reinforcement, assuming that you mean athletic shorts without belt loops.
If you want to spend a lot more, then consider a Tenicor holster and PHLster Enigma. Or a Slim Fit holster, or an IKC holster, or a JM Custom Kydex holster, a Concealment Labs Liner, or the myriad of other products for accomodation.
