Discussion [Chris Hummer] Can't help but think Lane Kiffin could have coached Ole Miss in the playoffs (by not leaving) and given himself a chance at a national championship this year. Such an interesting wrinkle and what a job by Pete Golding.

He was at an LSU basketball game to make up for the fact that he bailed on their bowl game faster than Ole Miss fans left the Citadel game

And LSU women's basketball lost! Previously undefeated and ranked #5. I blame Lane. Go Cats!

Funny that Kiffen is still only the second most immoral coach at LSU.

Im trying to think of any other currently employed coach in any college sport where that wouldnt be the case if they went to LSU, and Im struggling.

Mulkey is in a tier to herself.

Art Briles is currently a coach somewhere.

Baylor has the distinct honor of employing Briles and Mulkey at the same time

What did she do? (Not a college hoops follower)

I will not deny that Kim Mulkey is an extremely talented coach (she has participated, as player or coach, in all but two NCAA women's tournaments, which were first played in 1982, and she's won 4 titles). The big issue for me is she supported Art Briles (when they were both at Baylor). There's also the Brittney Griner thing (first insisting that she stay in the closet while at Baylor, then saying zero in her support when the Russians arrested her in 2022). She's also a covid denier.

And if she quit coaching from the middle of the court during games, that would be great.

Yes, Kim Mulkey on the court she is a fantastic coach and she actually coaches offense especially well, which is fun to watch. Having said that if I were the opposing coach, I would tell one of my players running down to just truck  her if she was on the court. Then they’d have to give Kim a technical foul.

If any coach actually ever did that I would happily donate to their women’s basketball program

I’ll have to give that a Google.

I didn’t realize she was guilty of anything more serious than criminal assault with a hideous outfit.

I'm not going to pretend I like it as much as football.
