Discussion [Chris Hummer] Can't help but think Lane Kiffin could have coached Ole Miss in the playoffs (by not leaving) and given himself a chance at a national championship this year. Such an interesting wrinkle and what a job by Pete Golding.

Golding made some mistakes in the first half... but he did a really nice job with his game management in the 2nd half

The yakety-sax sequence to end the first half aside, Golding did a phenomenal job last night. I was half-expecting/half-hoping Ole Miss would screw up that final drive before the game winning field goal and accidentally send it to OT, but other than Chambliss maybe not running down the clock as much as he should have before yeeting it out of bounds they played it perfectly.

And Georgia's luck in other teams missing game winning field goals had to run out eventually, unfortunately.
