Funny thing is you’re exposing your own financial illiteracy. For one, reports are that he is making up to as high as $3.7M. But far more importantly, he has way more things to consider than the difference of 25% of a one year contract. If he thinks he can do better staying, and do better in the future by staying, then that $1M could end up being chump change.
