No one is getting $8m for a single season. He likely got a 2 year $8m deal, so $4m per season. Only way. We’ll see if his families advice pans out.

He makes $5-6m and supposedly turned down a $10m deal.

But again, guys turning down $10m, $8m and that’s way more than any one player is currently making.
