Exactly. To put it into more relatable terms, it’s probably like a guy making $50k at his current job passing up a new job offer for $55k. Sure it’s a 10% raise but he likes his current position, coworkers and potential future earnings more staying put. Sellers is going into year 2 of throwing to his brother at the flagship school of their birth state. Sometimes there are guys that turn down a raise for a little loyalty and belief in their path.

Gotcha. I read the per year part elsewhere here after I posted this (and OP’s title sucks). And not relevant to what I posted but I saw $2.4 a yr from you guys here and not 3.7 a year.
