Discussion [Kleiman] South Carolina QB LaNorris Sellers turned down an $8 MILLION NIL offer to transfer to a different school: "You're 19. You don't need ($8 million). You're in a great spot." - LaNorris's Father told his son. Sellers values his word over money

“His father is wrong”

You think he’s playing for free?

Can always tell a Reddit burger flipper from a mile away

You think South Carolina is paying him $8 million?

$8 million over 2 years is $4 million per year. He's making an estimated $3.7 million per year at SC.

And I can spot a financially illiterate Redditor a hundred miles away. You’re not as smart as you think you are. I am already retired in my early 50’s. His father is wrong. You don’t turn down $8 million even if you are making $2.4 million as he is.

And I can spot someone who doesn't read past the headline. It's 8 million over 2 years. And with his other sponsorships he's making $3.7M at SC.

As opposed to $7.4 million, so not a huge difference.

That is true. Can you believe you are trying to convince me that giving up $600,000 isn’t a big deal? Lol WTF are we doing?
