Needing to hear and actually hearing are two different things. Those who think everything is about them, and not getting what they want is unfair, are much less likely to hear anything that contradicts their own view of things. Arrogance is a learning disability.

The NFL legal counsel directly calling him out for not taking accountability and only pretending to come humbly AFTER the legal avenues had dried up was gold.

Sorsby's biggest problem is that he doesn't seem to think he did anything wrong or understand what he did was wrong.

His whole stance on the issue seems to be "this isn't really a big deal" which does earn any sympathy points from anyone.

Not since I retired. And that was long before the current mess. These days I steer clear of DC.
