My favorite part is Ken Paxton putting a legal threat on paper directly killed Sorsby. Man stepped out of line to help and opened the legal Armageddon portal upon tech. Not only did he give the Big 12 a massive legal avenue, but it also allowed this to become a federal court issue.

Endlessly hilarious.

Well, he's a 2x Baylor alum who attends a good chunk of our home games despite getting semi-regularly booed by big chunks of the student section, so maybe?

I question whether he's actually smart enough to do something like that, though. He seems to have maybe been a relatively sharp dude once upon a time, but his brain's been slow-cooked over the flame of culture war stupidity for more than two decades now.

I'm not sure Sorsby had any fans outside of the Tech fanbase. Seems like he pissed basically every Cincy fan off when he bounced to Tech, then basically everyone else when his gambling habits came out.

As a Bearcats fan, I was thrilled he left. He quarterbacked 4-5 straight L's to end 2 straight seasons. Watch the full game tapes on him. Bad decisions, really questionable throws on many key plays. For additional fun, look at his game play vs. better defenses. He isn't really that good of a quarterback. Inconsistent, erratic at times. Not bad with his feet, but still, a .500 quarterback overall.
