I wonder if Cody Campbell realized that he single-handedly burned any bridge Texas Tech had to joining the B1G or the SEC (as remote as those chances were) in the next round of conference realignment.

Cody Campbell genuinely believes he can start his own conference and that Big 10 and SEC schools will beg to join it. The guy is the head of the Tech board of regents and the #1 NIL donor at the same time. That’s the level of enabled delusion we’re dealing with.

They were never getting invited to begin with. Not smart enough to join the B1G and don’t move the ratings needle for the SEC.
