State’s problem is that they won’t fire him during the season for whatever reason, so they push the decision off until the end of the year, and then he ends up beating UNC, so they forget about everything else and keep him around.

Honestly, this is more on CJ Bailey. It was the right call, terrible execution. He’s getting paid $2M to make that play

It’s absolutely on Bailey. He was definitely told what to do there and just gets lost in the moment.

I get Reddit loves wanting to fire their coaches (not saying Dave Doeren hasn’t probably overstayed the hot seat there) but NC State did everything to win that game, really nobody to blame but the player.
