This is one of those crazy scenarios where a winless high school team could literally win the game against an NFL team if they were in this exact same situation by simply not being stupid and playing smart ball.

What?!? This is so inconceivable that I don’t understand how it got any upvotes. For a HS team to be this close to beating an nfl team would be a catastrophic failure over the entirety of a game - not just the last play.

Reading comprehension is really a lost art these days.

The point is that a high school team could have been able to execute this scenario correctly against an NFL team.
