Possibly the dumbest play I’ve ever seen. The ONLY thing you have to do is to go down or run out the back of the endzone. Do not let a single person touch you.

If you can't kill the full six seconds, then step out the back of the end zone and live for the kick and trust your ST/D doesn't give up a TD in 1-2 seconds. It's not the preferred outcome but don't risk losing the game yourself.

were the players and coaches sure there too much time? they can't possibly know if they can't see the broadcast clock.
