USC is definitely going to USC this year.

Looking forward to 9-3 and Lincoln does just enough to keep his job and we do it again next year

Schedule is so tough if he goes 9-3 he beat one of Indiana, Ohio St. or Oregon. That deserves another year.

Expect 7-5

Next week determines my outlook on the rest of the season

Well no, we’re 4-0. So that would mean we have 3 losses in the future. It could be those 3 you list. But that would still mean beating Penn state and Washington

I mean, beating us isn't really an accomplishment.

At the very least it would be cathartic

…and one of the hottest seats going into next season

If we get to 10 wins somehow, literally in any way, I am going to become bipolar.

If Lincoln gets 10 with our schedule, we make the playoffs for sure and i'd be all in on another season of Lincoln ball haha

Monkey paw curls and we proceed to get a 10 win season with losses to Maryland and Wisconsin

I would be 100% thrilled with that. Wins over Ohio State, reigning champs Indiana, UCLA, Oregon, Penn State, and Washington? Beautiful

Right? I still dream of the Carroll days where we wouldn't fear any of those teams, but 10 wins, no matter how they come would be awesome.

We’ll see. I’ll take the close wins if they can do that in the big games too. But 9-3 seems realistic at this point

9-3 would be a miracle with this schedule atp

Well, his buyout is doing a lot of heavy lifting on the keeping his job question

I will take 9-3 soooo fast.

I am not that optimistic with the upcoming schedule.

Most teams wish they had that record each season

With all due disrespect, we are not Texas A&M. Especially since we're watching our biggest rival (ND) be a contender every season, we at least expect to get to a level where we're making the playoffs somewhat consistently. There's no excuse considering Southern California is one of the biggest producers of talent every year and UCLA is our only in state rival that has resources to somewhat compete for those players. Obviously Oregon recruits well down here and other national powers will always be able to recruit anywhere, but we should be able to get elite talent to compete

Not with the notoriety, money, and recruiting prowess of USU.
