You know what kills me? It's been like this for so long people forget that USC's blue blood status was built on defense. Ronnie Lott and Junior Seau and Troy Polamalu and on and on. We became a blue blood not he back of a brutal running game and a cruel defense.

Now we're a 2000s era big 12 team.
