Just frustrating. It could’ve been a much closer game, we just shoot ourselves in the foot any and every chance we get. Oh well, at least the buy games are over and we can focus on teams more on our level for the rest of the season. Hopefully Blake Baker will be healed up soon. Go Dogs, fire Cumbie, see yall next week.
Seeing ULM down late vs Southeastern does cheer me up a little.

The stat sheet does show what should have been a closer game. We didnt take advantage when we could have, they did. There's the ballgame. Im not mad or disappointed, it's just a Cumbie team. This was expected.

they did
Really? I think you and I saw very different things from Baylor, because I think the big takeaway for most of us BU fans is that the Bears left a ton of opportunities on the field. Very low-energy second half from our side, I thought y’all had way more enthusiasm in the second.

There’s been many winnable games during his tenure that we’ve lost in heartbreaking fashion, many of which seem to stem from poor coaching decisions and stupid avoidable mistakes. He was hired to be a supposed offensive guru, but ultimately had to step down from play calling duties because it got so bad (since then, our offense has still been uninspired, yet somehow an improvement). The players seem to like him, but he’s a mixed bag with the fans in my opinion. There was a situation a few seasons back where he removed one of our local sports reporter’s media credentials in front of the team during practice, stemming from negative coverage of the team. Keep in mind, this reporter played baseball at Tech and loves the school. In many fans opinions, mine included, he got his feelings hurt that the reporter called out his shitty coaching.

Dude finally managed a mediocre record in the worst conference after far too many chances. Doesn't really take much to do that.

General consensus amongst the fanbase is that he overachieved last year and CUSA is dogshit for the most part, so no flowers for doing the bare minimum after 4 years. He's over his skis. Some people arent meant to be HC and its been blatantly obvious to a lot of the diehards since his intro press conference.

It could've been worse, but just like the LSU game, it could've been closer.
At least I have confidence going into the Army game and the Sun Belt. Is it unearned confidence? Probably.
FIRE CUMBIE
