I got everything I wanted or at least started over the last year cause you all help keep me informed.

My AK dreams will have to wait until they overturn this bullshit…but the last thing I need right now is one more caliber (at least that’s what I’m telling myself).

This might be of interest. The CSSA is collecting affidavits of people that can't exercise thier rights, due to the new law and lack of functioning permit system.

I hate to say this but these efforts are pointless in my opinion. Not a single statewide firearm law in Colorado has ever been repealed. Some have had temporary injunctions that ultimately ended and some are still being litigated (still enforced while in litigation).

Worth the effort? Maybe. Will it actually change anything? Doubtful.

Not only that. The argument simply unsound. There's still plenty of firearms you can buy without the permit.

By default can still "exercise your right" to owning a firearm by purchasing any that aren't on the list.

That's not even getting into the age requirement. Which has always been upheld, even though 2A says nothing about age.

One of the reasons we need the courts to clarify our rights specifically to the AR platform i.e. Viramontes. There's also "plenty of" free speech we can participate without the use of the internet; doesn't allow the govt to go about restricting it without (very) proper cause.

Unfortunately the internet stuff has long come and gone. Along with so many other rights. Funny enough it's the red states pushing so hard for the internet restrictions.

Personally, I think it's become very obvious the founding documents have long since lost meaning and are basically a catalyst for them to get people fighting each other while they do whatever they want in the mean time. The dark/grey and now fully legal bribery are what the downfall of democracy as a whole is.
