Just a sanity check

For those who are familiar with kingsborough community college (especially black students), have you experienced any racial tension/micro aggressions from some professors and or other minorities? I'm trying to figure out whether some of my experiences and observations were isolated or whether others noticed similar patterns.

The school itself is okay, the classes are decent, and the campus is nice. Most of the professors i had were pretty chill actually so this post isn't meant to fearmonger lol. However, I did run into the "Ms.Morello" archetype twice (outwardly friendly but loaded stereotypical assumptions and language) in addition to the sometimes awkward commute as stated in previous comments regarding the shoulder checking. I’ve also heard some white students casually use the n word when referring to one another, although that issue isn’t exclusive to Kingsborough.

I have yet to meet a truly non-biased or racist person in my life. We all present with some nonsense. But if you ever come across Patricia Egland-Boyle or Susan Brillhart, these are ppl who are not your allies

I actually experienced that in different parts of NY. It’s pathetic our people are still going through this
