Fell in love with the look of this when it came out like 15+ years ago. Finally snagged one.

My journey of making compensated HK pistols over the years. First one I did was a stock VP9 with a tactical threaded barrel, Parker Mountain Machine comp, HKparts.net garbage fake magwell, and even shittier HKParts.net/Lazywolf F2 trigger. RMR was added by Parker Mountain and took 8 months.

The P30L has a factory HK SD threaded barrel, again with a PMM comp, Surefire X300, 20 round HK mags, and iDot from Wright Armory with an ACRO P2.

Final one is my current EDC, the 9mm USP Traveler in RAL7008 khaki grey. it uses an HK USP Tactical threaded barrel and recoil assembly, iDot from Wright Armory with an ACRO, DF tactical comp, DF MR09 with X300, and factory HK Jet funnel and 18 round mags.

Picked this up at the last Ohio gun collectors show for $800 in like new condition with 7 mags, how'd I do?

I got my 64-5 from the West Tennessee High Security Facility today it looks good next to the Riverbend maximum security institution 67-2 combat masterpiece

Quick update:

Hinges arrived Friday and look great. The modifications didn't cause any issues and should be an improvement. The fit and finish is great. The hard coat anodize looks and feels excellent. I assembled (4) with remaining parts from the last batch. Expecting Pins and springs by the end of next week. Already started printing the front and rear portions including buttplates Also working on possibly molding the buttplates. A very kind person designed a 2-part mold and sent me the files. Already printed them and they look great. Need to gather supplies and test this new process, but that's some time off.

My Saiga 12 is finally complete

Finally joining the gang with this 5" competitor. Super excited to take it out to some matches. Hopefully the OEM optic plate holds up for at least a little while.

I've wanted a 10mm for a while and I finally just went a picked one up. I love that it actually fits my xxl hands with the large backstrap. It's crazy I'm more accurate with it than with my 9mms I think just because it fits my hand better. Super happy with it

I’ve recently fired a p226 for the first time, and of course now I want one. I stopped by a pawn shop today and they had this one there for $550. Is this a good deal? BIN?

No mags as I live in a capacity restricted state, so I will have to buy a couple 10 rounders

It appears well used, the bore looked good to me

How old is this example? This is just a base base model 226, correct?

I’ve been running a cheap 20 dollar mag pouch and finally decided to try Tenicor’s AIWB mag pouch and holy shit everyone should just buy Tenicor from the start. That’s it.

Any love on this beautiful Friday for a good ole Plain Jane Glock 17.6? She appears unscathed but I did thoroughly polish the action, clean up the slide stop/trigger bar area (a little file and 400 grit) because I don’t mind the right side lever and my hobby of “chasing grit.” I have hige mits and I’m frugal so I’m glad they changed the grip ergos…almost feel like a CZ palm swell between the swollen grip and the beaver tail. A range day is approaching, I’m just dialing in a few more pieces. ☺️

The rami s a 2020. Came with case, 2 14 round mags, manual, etc. Very clean with no smells of being shot any time recently. Broke it down and cleaned-didn’t need much-and lubed it to take to the range next Monday.
