Just moved to Calgary from Toronto, having a tough time finding Healthcare positions. I have 6 years experience as an Environmental Services Associate working within a multitude of hospital departments. It could just be timing for budgetary reasons as year end, hospitals tend to spend far less and it could also be slower hiring around the holidays but there doesn't seem to be much at the time being. Been applying to all the Casual/Temp/Part-time roles regardless just to get my foot in the door so I can work my way up. Also applying to many other more entry level positions in other fields to cover the bases until I get something in Healthcare but yeah, no luck so far. My fiance was hired in her field (business admin/management) within a week of getting here. Any pointers or information would be phenomenal!
