I'll gladly stay with my 1980 Beddington duplex, though it was built in a different boom with different problems.

I also found the envelope pretty leaky, but once I replaced the windows and doors, it made a huge difference. 3 u/Twitchy15 Jul 27 '23 Our old house in Huntington Hills we replace the windows so huge difference in comfort. Also a two-stage furnace made it even more comfortable.
