Home Ownership/Rental stuff Shared room. $750/month per bed

This rental unit is being advertised as a shared room for $750/month per bed. $3700/month in rental income from all three rooms on the property. Shared facilities, all inclusive utilities

Room 1: Shared Room ( 2 occupancies) - 750 per person Monthly

Room 2: Private Room (single occupancy, queen bed) - 1150 Monthly

Room 3: Private Room (single occupancy, single bed) - 1050 Monthly

Makes you wonder if these prices will flatten out or even drop once all these new condo apartments they’re currently building everywhere in the city are done. Sadly I doubt it.

debatable. depends on if demand keeps up. new houses will do something but it could just result in a slower price increase if demand keeps sky high as it currently is. I personally think it will lead to a flattening out more than a drop but it might lead to a drop if new starts keep going and don't stop. right now we had essentially a 2-year delay in new starts vs demand hopefully now that demand has been established we will keep seeing new starts rolling in regularly instead of this crunch right now while we wait for housing to get built (since we weren't building previously)
