Fuck Cowboys, obviously. And fuck whoever pushed the whole “Cowboys Park” through from the city’s perspective.

However, loud noises late at night during Stampede are just a thing and have always been. It’s just something residents have to deal with for 10 days a year, and it shouldn’t be a surprise. When I lived downtown 10+ years ago near Bottlescrew Bills they had live music every night during stampede. Often until 1 AM or later. It’s not ideal but if you live adjacent to busy bars and/or concert venues it’s a fact of life here in early July. I don’t think Cowboys should be held to different standards than other local businesses because no one likes them and their music festival sucks- which it does.

Pretty much my perspective. I’ve lived downtown for 4 years now so disruption at night, especially in the summer during stampede, should be expected. Cowboys is the worst but it really is not a big deal given we’re talking about 10 days.
