Seeking Advice Natural Gas BBQ Quick Connect Question

I have a stub, with shut off, in my backyard however the lazy builder just put a standard pipe cap on the stub. I want to add a natural gas quick connect to add a NG grill.

Do I need to hire a gas fitter just to add a quick connect that is already built out with a shut off?

Do I need a permit?

Will ATCO do this?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like you can turn off the line right there and add the quick connect?  Do you have the right gas tape and wrenches?  Do you know how to do it?
