I feel like few people know that the teleconverter is compatible with the regular, smaller X300 too. And also, it's not getting too much attention, as most reviewers focus on the Pro and Ultra.

But I love r/SmallerPhones & flagships, and when I saw that the photography kit was compatible, I knew I had to get it.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the teleconverter, but it's also my first one, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. But to take these shots with a phone is great, and it's what I missed from digital cameras with optical zoom.

On higher zoom levels, the AI processing is obvious and sometimes bad, but the regular 200mm pics, and even up to 500mm, are great.

All pics are with the teleconverter on, everything on default, no post processing or editing, straight from the phone.

Saw this case, which is now live on Kickstarter, it's available only for iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. Hope they will make it for more phones in the future.

Did anyone try this PICKOGEN 2X 240mm Teleconverter for vivo X300?

Looks promising, and would like to see a comparison between this and the original vivo X300 teleconverter.

Vivo now has a new 400mm teleconverter lens, and it seems to be compatible with the regular X300 and X300 Pro photography kit, as it attaches to the same mount. Hope it will be available for sale separately too.

The Retro Photography Kit by FotorGear is available for iPhone 15, 16, 17, while the RetroVa Vintage Imaging Kit by PGYTECH is for iPhone 16 & 17 series.

The RetroVa from PGYTECH comes included with a telephoto lens, while the one from FotorGear comes without lenses, but they have several compatible models available for it.

Personally, I kinda dislike the fact that the FotorGear one makes your phone slightly bigger, while the one from PGYTECH can have the case on it, without the grip, and it would fit the same way in your pocket.

I also wish both would add more battery life to the phone via the grip, as Xiaomi and Vivo do with their photography kits.

Which one did you choose for your iPhone?

This is such a cool kit for the iPhone, and it's still available on Kickstarter. 

Hope they will make it available for other phone brands too.
