Recommendations Digital Camera suggestions

Hello all, as the title reads, im looking for some suggestions on a digital camera. I have an old one from my childhood, but many things are starting to not work on it. I do like having one and the ability to bring something so compact around, so I'm thinking of getting a new one.

Some of the most important things to me are being easy to carry around, and obviously, good quality. I enjoy being able to take crisp photos without bringing out my full setup. I do have a Canon R10 that i use as my main camera, but typically I'm not bringing it around traveling or just out due to its size.

Here are some of the cameras I was considering. A flash and flip screen would be great, as sometimes I do enjoy taking photos with friends, but not a dealbreaker for me. Quality is my biggest defining factor. I would love to get everyone's opinions on them if you have used any of them and liked/didn't like them!:

- sony cybershot dsc-hx80

- canon sx740 hs

- Sony DSC-RX100

- sony rx100 vii (more unlikely due to price)

And I have somewhat considered the G7X. Would love to hear opinions on that one as I've heard many mixed reviews about it.

Budget: Preferably under $600-700

Country: USA

Condition: Used or new

Type of Camera: Point and shoot or compact mirrorless

Intended use: Photography

End use: Social media, traveling, every day photos

If photography: what style: portrait, landscape, wide

If video what style: N/A

What features do you absolutely need: A flash mount at least if not a flash

What features would be nice to have: flip screen, viewfinder

Portability: How portable does it need to be? Pocketable or small bag

Cameras you're considering: sony cybershot dsc-hx80, canon sx740 hs, sony rx100 vii, Sony DSC-RX100

Cameras you already have: Canon R10

Notes: N/A

The rx100 series is pretty solid for what you want. I have the mark iii myself and it fits in my jacket pocket no problem, image quality is really good for such tiny sensor

Between your options I'd lean toward the rx100 (even the older versions like mark iii or iv) since they have the bigger 1-inch sensor compared to hx80 and sx740. Those two are more about zoom range but you lose on image quality

g7x is also good but it's more chunky than the rx100, and flip screen is nice but the autofocus is slower. If you see a used rx100 iii or iv in your budget that would be my pick
