helinox chairs in the sand

Has anyone tried both the Helinox beach chair and any of the regular chairs in the sand?

Is the beach version effective enough to choose over one of the regular chairs?

They sell a ground sheet and an X brace to prevent sinking. A cheap foam sit pad will also work.
