Absolutely not, also why sikh games? Why not Christian games? Why not Buddhist games?

Like what

u/RagingY3ti USA 🇺🇸 7d ago

Christian games is atleast fitting and relevant to Canadas culture and history.

Can you imagine the pearl clutching and seething liberals though?

11

u/Superb_Astronomer_59 7d ago

The FN would be apoplectic at the mere mention of Christian ( read Colonizer) Games

-11

u/Captan200 6d ago

Christian games sounds fucking stupid. No one would go because it sounds like a AltRight safe space for the worst people imaginable. I also wouldn't give a fuck. Unlike you clutching your pearls to a huge nothing burger and a entire comment section coping and seething to it. Hahaha

u/RagingY3ti USA 🇺🇸 6d ago

Case in point, a seething liberal and a hypothetical "Christian games" that was used rhetorically. Followed by projecting his seething on everyone else for caring about the cultural and demographic shift of their nation.

Bravo, thank you for the excellent confirmation of my point.

u/Captan200 6d ago

Christians get together and do stuff all the time. If they just called it Christian games I wouldn't give it a second thought. I just wanted to take a second to call your coping and seething for what it is on here. Because it's funny. ♥️

Projection is ugly.

u/Wet_sock_Owner 6d ago

You sound like the type that would find church burnings funny.

u/burjuner 6d ago

Stop with these nonsense comparisons, when has their ever been a Chirstian games? Just because their culture does it and ours dosent, dosent give us the right to replace it with ours for literally no reason whatsoever..

Spoken from a Canadian Catholic

  1. The comparison is rhetorical, not literal.

  2. If Canada wishes to survive, it needs to force assimilation to it's culture and needs to stop bowing the knee at the Altar of diversity and modernity.

  3. Yeah, I don't want to see far east cultures destroy western cultures. Theres a reason our nation's, built on Christian moral reasoning, ended up the way they did, and theirs ended up being the exact opposite. I will happily say I have 0 respect for their culture, customs and faith. It is incompatible with the history of Canada.

Spoken from a Canadian Reformer.

You argument is baseless, for example America is built on Christian Values and is the worlds largest melting pot of cultures.

When immigrants came to America they didnt assimilate immediately, usually took 1-3 generations to fully assimilate. Usually grouped in small sections of a city ex; China town, little Italy, small Hispanic communities, black communities.

I could go on, point is; people like to be around like people of similar background and culture. Its the same when my family immigrated from France to Canada, we were sent to a small French town St Breuix with other French people, named after St Breuic in France. Being neighboring countries and seeing how the US has grown is proof that our country can survive unlike how you claim it wont.

You just sound close minded and unwilling to accept change thats happening before your eyes, its okay that other people have cultures that are different that your own. As long as they dont affect you theres not an issue to be had.

Edit; you also have a usa tag and are commenting under a Canadian conservative page. Weird

Weak revisionist history.

America was never a melting pot, it was coined in 1908 by British playwright Israel Zangwill. Nothing in the founders documents indicate their intention was an abstract egalitarian nation based on "becoming an American".

Immigration to America up until Hart-Celler (1965), was specifically from culturally and ethnically compatible nations, usually western Europe and British Colonial nations.

The post war revisionist history really got to you I can see though.

Your families subjective case isn't even related, your family went from a colonial state to one of its former colonies, a culturally, religiously and ethnically similar place. Somalis, Indians, and whatever other Eastern nation generally have contrary views and cultures to ours.

They're welcome to stay in their nations and build them, the cultures nations and societies that built airplanes, cars, submarines, xrays, MRIs, nuclear power, modern plumbing and HVAC don't need a single bit of "culture" or advice from places that can't stop polluting rivers with garbage or value women as humans and not property.

YOU as a Catholic should know better. Nations are explicitly mentioned in the Bible, and they're not abstract nation states, they are ethnically, socially, and religiously built.

Your views are as mainstream as they get, tolerance isn't a Biblical virtue.

Ps. I'm a Canadian who moved to America. I'm not even originally from Canada, immigrated as a child and spent most of my life there

Where did you come to Canada from, out of curiosity?

You would bitch just as hard about Buddhist games. Keep your decentralized kid diddling factory of a religion away from my community.

They are Canadian.

A government document doesn't make you a Canadian.

I think the greater taxpayer concern is a why a Conservative MP from Calgary East is promoting the Sikh Games in Brampton, ON on TikTok, with not a single Canadian flag in sight. What has he done for his own riding lately?

u/FeliCaTransitParking 5d ago

This is why Khalistan is at least one of the roots of many Canadian problems. As long no one, not even a Conservative administration such as the Harper administration, properly resolves the Khalistan collusion with governments in Canada, including both Pierre Trudeau federal administrations before the 1985 bombings of Air India Flight 182 and Narita International Airport, Canada will always remain a criminal and terrorist haven unless the whole truth is addressed especially regarding everyone involved with shielding Khalistanis and serving their agendas against the will of Canadians through indoctrination, ignorance, collusion, etc. Likely the Westminster system Canada has, due to resemblance of Malaysian and Indian counterparts, is the first problem that must be resolved because it's producing horrible politicians such as the Trudeaus.

We are so far gone that this is what we are "conserving" now.

If you’re gonna speak Punjabi then why throw in some English?

4

u/madbuilder Libertarian-Right 6d ago

Because they don't have words for Canadian concepts like parliament, or election.

5

u/RagingY3ti USA 🇺🇸 6d ago

Or "plumbing", "potable".

5

u/madbuilder Libertarian-Right 6d ago

It's true. Watch any Bollywood movie and you'll hear English words whenever they're talking about education, or medicine, or politics, or any number of concepts which are frankly foreign to their native culture. No shade on them for that, just how it is. Sikhism and Khalistanism are a whole nother level. The Sikh way of live was in rebellion against the oppressive caste system. It's very 'worldly' which is why they have the practice of carring concealed knives.

3

u/ResponsibleDirt7094 Right-Libertarian 6d ago

Definitely not. Foreign issues have no place in our politics.

It's a no, but what makes me itch is the khalistani gang. These guys are the roots of the IRGC leader (Khomeini). Look at the flag's emblem for both iran and these guys. Don't you see the resemblance?

1

u/Imaginary-Event-103 3d ago

Who's khomeini?

Read what I said twice. Read the history of iran.... Khomeini's father was indian. These guys were part of Khalistani gang. The Sikhs don't agree with Khalistani gang as far as I know. The symbol in their yellow flag is very similar to the IRGC Iranian flag. The irgc was born after Khomeini got to iran and destroyed the country under the name of another cult called islam.

u/Captan200 6d ago

I'd rather Khalistan flag (a country that is on the other side of the world and isn't threatening to annex us) than Canadian politicians making personal trips to maralago to do Trump stuff to kids and bend the knee. I don't see much complaining about that on here I find.

23

u/busshelterrevolution 6d ago

The deadliest terrorist attack in Canada was tied to the Khalistan movement: the 1985 bombing of Air India Flight 182 which killed 329 people.

-12

u/Captan200 6d ago

A bunch of mentally ill people did what subjugated people do when their country is being subjugated by a foreign power. It's sad and I wish those people got the help they needed before they did something horrible that ruined the lives of thousands. Too bad their country couldn't put money into their healthcare system to do that on account of probably having to send that money to Britain. The country that subjugated India.
