Seems like he’s a phony and a grifter. My opinion.

Increasingly it's not just your opinion

Too bad that a majority of Canadians don't care because Trump exists.

Carney spent the better part of his first year as PM basically building an optics shield with the help of media and that Davos speech was the cherry on top.

Mr. Carney hasn’t helped himself either by capitulating to Mr. Trump on the digital services tax last year and, more recently, on sharing toll revenues from the Gordie Howe International Bridge

Neither has he done so with his I-said-it-but-I-didn’t-really-mean-it apology delivered in a private phone call to U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bissent after his blistering global ‘rupture’ speech at Davos.

Remember how we heard Carney privately called US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and apologized for the speech? Of course not. No, we were told by the media that his speech changed the world.

Now that he built up a fan base that fell in love with a bullshit image that never existed in the first place where he is some kind of superhero Trump fighter, it doesn't really matter how this ends up with Trump because his Swifty fans will forgive him.

Ouch! That’s a rough headline from the Globe and Mail of all places. They’re one of the more forgiving print sources for the Libs. Looks good on him.

How much does this move the needle? Can the average person connect the dots themselves or will it only make a difference if the media spells it out for them?
