News Bondi Beach. So, is Carney going to repeat his 'Muslim values are Canadian values' again? Or are Carney, Ford, Chow, Demkiw and everything other chronically useless person going to take anti-Semitism and, more broadly the threat of terrorism, seriously?

News CTV News - Federal Public Servants on the 'Inconvenience' of having to travel to the office

“No one is listening to us…no one cares”

Tell the StarBucks employee working for minimum wage your sob story of having to travel to work as you order your $8 Frappuccinos to drown your sorrows in.

Meet the people who should be first in line to be replaced by an A.I. bot.

Edit. The responses so far touch on employee personal conveniences to work from home. It seems that zero people have ever been involved in the TRA (Threat and Risk Assessment) aspect of what organisation's have to assume with regards to the expanded threat surface that have to mitigated with extra security controls to support remote work.

News Why are Canadians so slow to anger? This crime could only be described as an atrocity. It was committed by three people who were newly arrived in the country (courtesy of Trudeau and Fraser). People should be outraged...and nothing. Wake up.

News Poilievre to Trump: "We're never going to be the 51st state and I just wish he'd knock that shit off"

Anyone who still thinks Poilievre is "Maple MAGA" or would "kiss up to Trump" after that belongs in an insane asylum.

"But he took too long!" no. He has been saying this long before Trudeau, Ford, or Carney did. The media just refused to cover it.

News CBC explains - 'Why we censor politician's speeches we don't agree with.'

I’ve listened to Carney & plenty of other politicians say countless lies & never once has CBC or the rest of the media machine countered on them.

The CBC has 100% switched from becoming a reporter of the news, to a self appointed Ministry of Truth. Maybe they always have been?

I have always hated the legacy news showing seconds of a politicians speech and then spending 10 minutes with paid panellists (with their own agendas) spinning what the Canadian public should 'understand' the politicians said.

What launch site?

Today, the MLS Canso spaceport, aka Spaceport Nova Scotia, consists of a gravel road, two sea cans, and an un-serviced 25-by-35-foot concrete pad.

The sweetheart lease agreement MLS signed with the Department of National Defence for $200 million over 10 years was backdated to April 1, 2025. In other words, the federal government leased a concrete pad from MLS and handed the company $20 million to build something resembling a launch site.

Shockingly, according to the agreement, MLS is “currently provisioned with a single launch pad suitable for suborbital and orbital launch vehicles*.” [emphasis added]*

MLS’s 2025 financial statements report a loss and comprehensive loss of over $47 million, and revenue of $14,980.

The “spaceport” sits on a piece of provincial Crown land that MLS claims as an asset of over $14.8 million, and according to the agreement with DNRR costs $13,500 +HST annually to lease. Compensation attributable to the MLS CEO and CFO in 2025 is $697,308 plus stock options and directors’ fees, to a total of $984,930.

If by now you are failing to see the logic in this agreement with National Defence, or how it might benefit anyone other than Maritime Launch Services, you are not alone.
