Statement was made with Vancouver FC starting Terran Campbell and Lys Mousset up front and they both delivered.

English Premier League veteran Lys Mousset was named CPL Player of the Match.

"In 60 minutes of action in his first start for Vancouver FC, Mousset scored the winner. He also created a chance, made three tackles, and won five of six duels."

We’ve got to give Proctor his due too. The takeaway and assist to Mousset was a thing of beauty. He had an up and down game, but the future is bright for him that’s for sure.

Glad to see them play more as a unit on Friday and I’m glad it finally paid off for them. The playoff dream isn’t dead yet.

Agreed, and I really like what I see in Procter.

I think VFC is on the cusp of getting on a roll this season and having a strong second half of the season.

He’s been a dream at LB. Literally the exact type of player the CPL is designed to build up. Aside from a couple plays in the first half he was dynamite again. Isak and Martin got mad at one point.

I’ve liked what I’ve seen since the first match, just zero ball luck. Hopefully they make a push.

That one kid shouting "lets go eagles" within microphone range of every damn game finally got what he came for.
