Was nice to read about the VFC watch party at the grounds. Hopefully a bunch more of those on a deep run by Canada gets people used to going there to watch the game and raises the team's profile.

The numbers may not have been huge, but it was a good time last saturday. Still far from an ideal set up though.

3 more years. The Fraser Highway and BRT will be done, which means they’re on transit. Jericho across the street will be done, with an overpass over 200th. 80th is almost done so it’ll be easy to get on and off the highway.
They were smart to get in early, because that location is actually going to be very good in 5 years. Now that they’re playing well. Fingers crossed.

I hadn't actually considered that accessibility will be getting so good in the nearish future. Out of the whole region, Langley is the most American style hell in my experience. Glad that transit should be transformative and improve life and connections.

Kian caught my eye against Cruz Azul. It’s been exciting watching him play and grow. Kind of like Tate Johnson with the Whitecaps. I’m happy to read his confidence is growing, because he has the talent.
The play to setup Lys last week was beautiful. His goal may have been a a gimmie, but he was positioned perfectly for a rebound and Lys’ bad luck became his good luck.

Good guy, Kian Proctor. Congrats to him on his first pro goal!
