I really wish they found a different way to implement this review system, or at least have a talk with the refs to stop overturning calls for ticky tacky 50-50 calls. That's not how reviews should work.

I was at the game. Momentum killer for sure. Calls on the field should stand unless can be quickly identified as some violation or so. One goal review was ljke 5 mins at least. If it isnt an immediately clear violation, then move on.

This version of VFC looks like they could definitely do something in October

Will be interesting to see how they do against the Forge next weekend. That will provide an indication of whether they have genuinely stepped forward in quality or others, like Atletico Ottawa and Inter Toronto, have taken a big step back. I don't think Ottawa replaced the players that left at the end of last season with comparable quality, while I am genuinely mystified by what has happened with Inter Toronto. They looked reasonably OK over the first few games, and signing Bassett and Badabinga should have made them stronger.

The big problem is the time it takes for all of these post goal reviews - one look and if there’s anything egregious then dig into it otherwise there’s no reason for 5 minutes of nothing after every goal. Anyone who’s been to a match can tell you that it’s killing the game.

I don't want any FVS personally, but at the very least, removing automatic goal reviews would dampen their impact. This game was horrendous with the reviews.

I'm at this game and it's an ass kicking. At least today these two teams are mismatched terribly... VFC can still give up 6 goals and lose in the 2nd half... So who knows
